Remembering Chinaren
« on: March 30, 2015, 01:10:30 AM »
Since he hasn't made it back, how about a topic remembering all of our favourite quirks of the Not-so-noble Noble?

I never got a nickname, but I sure you all remember yours, don't you, NiceTea, Robbit, Beep?

 :laugh1: Haha, Robbit.

Yeah it isn't quite the same around here without China making mildly obscene remarks and innuendos all the the time... I hope he's well, wherever he may be.

Kinda surprised we couldn't get in contact with him, really; he stuck it out with Old Tome right up to the end, even after Ovey himself had stopped posting.

Maybe he will one day find his way back *sits back and hopes*

I never really had a nickname that I remember-the advantages of having a short avatar name

His favourite smiley was a drunk hiccup'y one...  just thought I'd offer another random piece of information.

That avatar of his...  It always made me smile, particularly the Christmas one.
Yeah, he did call me beep. His habit of posting randomly in the "Fug so drunk" thread on old tome.
In the shadows we trust.

One of the things I liked about Chinaren was that he always found time to comment on pretty much every story on Old Tome. That was admirable, and I'm showing my respect by trying to make time for as many stories on New Tome as I can.

EDIT:  Woo, 100th post!

Yeah, I second that actually. It's weird not having constant updates every day.

I'm pretty sure he called me Prain. I could be making that up however

Yea, I liked that about him too, it didn't matter what genre the story was. And the advise given was always useful.
I love how there is still the option for an MSN address...
