1,000 words: A plain new adventure!

So the original 1,000 words thread seems to have too many spiders and ghosties for me to shoo away on to even think about salvaging it now. I mean, I could freeze them and set them on fire, but I wasn't entirely happy with how I laid the first part anyway. ~~So I figured I may as well start a brand new thing!
It has a slightly different feel than before, mostly because I'm now sketching it out on my graphics tablet rather than try and fiddle with shapes. It means I can get the scenes drawn out quicker though, so fingers crossed that this one [desc='cause you know, the main guy/gal in this tale is a stick figure...?]sticks[/desc] this time  .

So! Seens as everybody selected to press the switch, (and because I was hoping to get this done yesterday but ran out of time) I drew the next scene!

Hmmm I think there's a little creature in the hole! Possibly a potential companion for our little stick man, who's wanting to go adventuring.

Well obviously he pressed the switch to save the world so he should see a saved world through the door...but maybe its not so saved after all

No! I really haven't forgotten about this topic! Sorry ! I just didn't expect coming back from a few days away to take all the planning for this out the window...

I'm going to try and post an update for this up today, as for the poll and whatever, as it's been so long between the posts I'm just going to combine your ideas into it.
Hopefully this won't take me too long...I know I also need to work on the Tomecraft adventures thread too.
